Waratah Brass - Newcastle is a highly successful brass banding organisation. Operating continuously since 1884 through wars, depressions and natural disasters it is one of the oldest, continuously operating bands in Australia and indeed, the world.
Waratah Brass will again be competing against local and visiting bands in the annual East Coast Band Championships on 10th June, 2012 at the Newcastle City Hall.
